So here we are stuck at home in isolation just like a very large proportion of the world. I am luckier than some because I can work from home, although you really have to change your mindset. Set you alarm in the morning and try to start at the same time and also make sure you finish at a set time. Just so your life doesn’t get consumed by all work or equally no work.
We should have been in Indonesia now enjoying the warm Indian ocean infact I had planned to do a PADI course this year. Well that might not happen who knows? I am going to remain positive and think that I will get there just a little later this year. As my wife said we might end up having two great holidays close together. I would really like to think that we will be getting back to some sort of normality by July. Bali has become so reliant on the tourist industry you have to worry how they will survive, and will it change the island for good. I for one will be heading back just as soon as is possible. I still have tickets with Singapore Airlines just no dates as yet.
So apart from work what I have I been doing? well I decided to tidy up my car, its an old MK4 Golf GTTDi, I have owned it now for 8 years it has caused me problems but I do love it. I spent a fair bit of time cleaning it to within an inch of its life. I thought it was looking so good I needed to do something, so I made a little video of it. It was great fun and took an evening to plan and shoot. I may do the van next if we have some more sunshine.
