Arriving at Dummer Down Farm
The Vanlife Eats Festival 2025 was held at Dummer Down Farm, just outside Basingstoke, over the August bank holiday weekend. From the moment we rolled in and pitched up, we could feel the relaxed and happy vibe that makes this gathering so special.
We parked up, got the kettle on, and instantly felt at home among hundreds of vans, from classic retro campers to giant expedition trucks. Everyone was here for the same reason: to celebrate community, creativity, and of course… food.
Vans of Every Shape and Size
One of the joys of Vanlife Eats is wandering the field and admiring the wide variety of setups. From quirky self-builds to gleaming motorhomes, there was inspiration everywhere.
We couldn’t help but smile at how personal each van was — every rig tells its own story.
Evenings by the Fire
As the sun went down, the festival really came alive. People gathered around fire pits, sharing drinks, swapping travel tales, and laughing late into the night.
It wasn’t about big headline acts, but about people — and that’s what made it so special.
Foodie Heaven
Food is at the heart of Vanlife Eats, and this year didn’t disappoint. From sizzling street food to creative campervan cooking demos, there was always something tasty to try.
We might have eaten more than we should have, but hey — it’s a festival!
Dora Steals the Show 🐾
Of course, Dora wasn’t going to miss out. She made herself very much at home, whether sprawled in the sunshine or taking part in the fun dog show.
Safe to say, she had as much fun as we did.
A Weekend to Remember
If we had to sum up Vanlife Eats Festival 2025 in one word, it would be chilled. It was a weekend of smiling faces, shared meals, and plenty of laughter. No pressure, no stress — just a community of like-minded vanlifers enjoying life.
