After some feedback and some intensive testing yesterday I have come to the conclusion that the load resistors get too hot to be mounted in the light units. If the load resistors are mounted to the lower part of the bodywork in the boot area I think they would be more suited.

There is no issue with heat under normal usage, i.e. when you are driving and using your indicators to turn, the issue arises when the hazard warning lights are being used for periods longer than 5 minutes, and for me that is not good enough.

I am now going to try 2 different solutions one will involve modifying the hazard warning light switch, if this works I will make a little video to go with the write up so that it is easy to follow.
