So I have finally got a Crafter. Its a MWB high top with a 136Bhp 2.0 litre engine.
I have had a good look around it and the van has had a conversion but it is not of the standard that I want so I think there is only one thing to do and that is to take everything out and start again. Its probably not a bad idea as I have already found wires held together with tape. It has some good components that will be reused such as the Durite split charge. I have used Durite in all my previous campers. It also has a Smev cooker and Hob. It has also had side windows and a roof vent fitted.
I have started to order bits in anticipation of the build one of the first things was heating so after reading lots on various Facebook groups I have decided to go for a 2kw diesel heater from eBay and I have also ordered a single seat base for the passenger side. I am looking to put in swivel bases and get some nice leather seats up from to lose a bit of the commercial feel that it currently has.
