It’s finally back after a 3 year wait!! Cornwall Jamboree is back on and we had tickets.  We were so excited that decided to go down early and camp nearby so we were able to get in really early.  We drove to Porthtowan early on the Thursday afternoon that where we were going to meet the others we were going with.

We got to Porthtowan and it was absolutely packed and there was nowhere to park so we headed to St Agnes for a few hours to have a coffee and wait till people had left the beach.  We are glad that we did because we found this amazing little cafe that was really quaint and cheap, only £2 a coffee!

There are lots of little shops in St Agnes that are really worth taking a look at I think maybe  St Agnes is missed because it’s such a small little town.

Later on we went back to Porthtowan and met up with everybody else who was going to the  jamboree. We went down to the beach and had a few drinks enjoying the evening sun. We then decided to go and get some chips, however the chippy told us he was fully booked. but luckily I had seen a little shack on the hill so what we went and found the most amazing pizza Shack where we ate pizza and watch the sunset.  That night we had decided to sleep at smokey Joe’s cafe that turned out to be quite a mistake  though, there was a dog’s kennel not too far away and the dogs barked pretty much all night not only that there was a refrigeration lorry in the car park and it’s refrigeration unit when off about every 30 minutes so no other side of really good sleep and to add to that it cost us £23 to park for the night.

Anyway that didn’t matter really it was  now Friday  now.and we were going to the Cornwall jamboree off we went and got in the queue  to be some of the first on site. We went to a field at the very bottom of the site and set ourselves up. Of course, we can’t go camping without having a little cider and cans were cracked open.  somehow you knew this was going to be a messy night.

We had it up to have a look at the traders and see what was for sale before heading back for some tea and more cider.  we then headed back to the tent,  but not before visiting many friends on the way,  all of whom insisted that we had a drink with them  so after drinking whisky  bourbon gin schnapps probably other stuff as well we had it back to the entertainment tent To watch the bands at night I have to admit I woke up the next morning with a very bad head.

I nearly forgot the mention as well that we actually got our Footsteps & Tyretracks flag this weekend and we are so chuffed and it looks amazing .

The weekend just carried on with an absolutely amazing  vibe and we all had  immense fun and if you want to see more of the weekend you need to check out the video I know YouTube channel.
