So the whole world changed this week. This time last week I was going to Bali and Lombok, flying this Friday. Well that’s not going to happen now with this Coronavirus. Life still has to continue though.

At work I am seeing more people self isolate every day, and if someone so much as sneezes everyone becomes very paranoid. Still we have tried to be as normal as possible this weekend we went on a family outing to IKEA and on the Sunday we had a VW cruise arranged which we still attended. There were a few who decided to not attend though

I spent a large portion of last night and this morning cancelling accommodation and various transport. It turns out that everyone really wants to help each other out and every single place that I had booked all allowed cancellation free of charge.

My flights were booked with Singapore Airlines and I was surprised how easy they made it to change my flights even when I had no idea when I was going to re book for. We are hoping that this current situation will start to recover in the late spring early summer and if that is the case we will travel in late July. It does mean that we have some time on our hands so we may take off in the camper van and head to the Scottish Highlands for a few days or so.
