So today December 9th was the day for the BeDub Christmas cruise.  For those of you that don’t know BeDub are a local VW group based in Plymouth and every year they hold a Christmas cruise and raffle in aid of a local charity.  This year it was the Donkey Sanctuary.

We started with warm drinks, bacon butties oh and cake you have to have cake. Then as with any VW event most of us wondered around the vans and cars and admired each others hard work, of course many had decorated their vans for Christmas and many were dress up in Christmas outfits.

Then we all went in side for the raffle and there were lots of really
great prizes all of which are donated by local companies and members, which included Flags, Boiler Service, Hand painted sign written name, Chipped key, Bath Bombs Gift Box, Glo Beads, Bacardi and Chocolates, Automatic Battery charger and some LED Torches, Bottle of Bubbly,2 Vango chairs, a Service, Mot voucher, Gift Voucher towards Paint, Makita Tool Bit Set, Valet, One  Free Lunch, set of Alloygators not bad prizes I think you will agree.  Oh and yes I did win one or two if you were thinking of asking.

After the raffle we gather in the car park to leave the Donkey Sanctuary and cruise to Looe.  As you may know I like making little videos and today was no exception, being a passenger every so often does have its advantages especially if you are in your wifes’ convertible.  It was really cold though.

Once we arrived in Looe we went for some fish and chips, what else do you do when you go to the English seaside in winter. Today was a great day some money was raised for a good cause and we got to meet some new people, One lad on the cruise had come from the Isle of Wight.  I think the organisers did an excellent job hope to see you all through the coming year at other events.

Below is the video I made of the day I hope you like it.
