Morning Bliss in Sanur
As the sun painted the sky with hues of orange and pink, we found ourselves in the heart of Sanur, our favorite spot to kickstart the day. The tranquil morning atmosphere was complemented by joggers, power walkers, and the aroma of breakfast wafting through the air.
Navigating through the bustling streets, we stopped by Warung Gazebo, our cozy haven in Sanur.
Breakfast in Kuta
Eager for new adventures, we hopped into a Bluebird cab, setting our course for Kuta. The morning stroll along Legion Street revealed a different side of Bali. A peaceful charm that contrasts with its lively daytime energy. Breakfast in a sports park near Kopi Pot in Legion injected an unexpected thrill, as pesky mosquitoes made their presence felt, adding a humorous twist to our morning tale.
Car Rental Chronicles with Eddie
Our next destination was Eddie’s, where reliability meets affordability in the world of car rentals. Eddie, the go-to guy for our Bali road trips, delivered a vehicle that may not be immaculate but promises a reliable journey through the island’s wonders. With the iconic footsteps sticker proudly adorning the car, we hit the road, ready for the day’s unfolding stories.
Encounters on the Streets:
Every journey is sprinkled with encounters, and ours included a chance meeting with Nyoman, – our latest subscriber! The streets of Bali echoed with laughter and greetings as we continued our exploration. Our trusty car carrying us through the lanes of Garlic Lane and beyond.
Midday Pursuits in Ketut’s and Suji
Our adventure took us to Garlic Lane, where Vee indulged in a bit of shopping at Ketut’s. The bustling lanes were alive with colors, textures, and the spirit of Bali. Next on the agenda was picking up our bags from Suji, containing memories and essentials from our UK journey.
Afternoon Serenity at Keramas Beach
The day unfolded with a scenic drive to Keramas Beach, a hidden gem on Bali’s eastern coast. The volcanic sand met the endless blue, creating a mesmerizing backdrop for surfers and beach enthusiasts alike. The waves, the sunset colors, and the simple pleasures of strolling along the black beach made Keramas a true Balinese haven.
Closing the Day with a Sunset Spectacle. As the sun began its descent, casting a warm glow on the horizon, we marveled at the beauty of Keramas Beach. Though the sunset was on the other side of the island, the colors were nothing short of divine. The day’s adventures had brought us closer to the magic of Bali, and we couldn’t help but express gratitude for the experiences that unfolded.
